i’m ruining the joke but here’s my thoughts: the difference between plants and animals is that plants grow things, such as leaves, fruit, and vegetables, that are easily regrown. when you eat an animal… that is it. it’s dead. even if you eat part of it, that part typically won’t grow back. i don’t believe people/animals have to be completely vegetarian, but i’m just offering some new insight. realistically, i know that life is going to consume other life and people are going to eat meat. so that is why i only advocate that we treat animals kindly before we kill them and eat them.

just think about fruit. it’s mind blowing because most lifeforms don’t have things that are as useless as the fruit is to the tree. plenty of trees get by fine without fruit around the seed. i just think that’s interesting. it’s like fruit was meant to be eaten… 

okay the joke was funny but an excuse for me to post what i had been thinking about food.
