i don’t understand why people don’t donate to thrift stores? i shop at thrift stores all the time and there is an okay selection of stuff but at the same time i see people throw their stuff out on the curb for several days letting it ruin and i see people throw perfectly good stuff in the trash as well and it really irritates me. i don’t understand how you could be so lazy and selfish that you can’t take your unused stuff to the thrift store? it takes 30 minutes to do the entire process. and you get a tax write off. maybe i should leave fliers explaining to people why they should donate?

sigh. humans suck.

another political idea i had

if all the 1st world countries just worked together to end world hunger, then maybe no body would want to go to war anymore. it’s just an idea but, maybe instead of always trying to fight terrorism and we instead used the resources we had to end world hunger, then we wouldn’t have all these angry people at the usa and stuff and we wouldn’t need to worry about war. just food. not even clothes or anything. just food. i think it could easily be done. just a thought. bleh.

it would be cool to just leave fliers like these around town. not just about gay people but about anything important. if you have something important to share with people, leaving fliers around town could be a good way of spreading your message.

i really want to promote environmentalism and education and maybe a few other good things while i am alive. ways to do that are: 1 becoming a politician 2 leaving fliers around town or advertising to people to do little things like carpool 3 adopting children 4 having a blog :) 5 ??? becoming a politician seems like the best way to change people but it seems really hard to become one. as long as i keep working and doing my best, i guess that is all that matters.

There are lots of shouts of “it gets better”, and “stay strong”, and “we love you”. But when I put myself back in time to when I was being bullied— none of those things would have helped me.

Yes, absolutely— it does get better! But when you are being physically and psychologically tortured, it is difficult to remove yourself from the pressingness of the moment at hand!

Here’s how I dealt with bullying: I cried, I hated myself, I hated my life. I didn’t deal with it; I survived it, but I never dealt with it. So here are two tips from someone with lots of experience— one: it’s not about you, it has nothing to do with you. It’s about the assholes doing it to you. And, two: your job is not to deal with it. Your job is to survive it, which you can do, because it will end. And then, yes, it will get better.

Slight tangent: this is a BIG reason why I think that public school is simply not well suited for everyone and it’s dangerous (to a sometimes fatal level) to keep it as the default.

try and just do things and think things that make you happy.

get up and do something.

think, “a week or a month or a year from now, what will i wish i had done today?” to motivate yourself.

i shouldn’t say that simply doing something or thinking something will completely help, but it will help some. (if you have depression, sometimes your brain chemistry is the problem.)

Learn to detach from people’s personalities, pettiness, or little faults. Focus instead on their greatness and you will experience more of it. Non-attachment is loving people as they are and finding the right moment to insert a thought, a touch, or love into their lives to empower them to make a shift to a higher level of consciousness.

or just try and be nice and realize people have a past and that is why maybe they seem to not live up to your expectations. then you will be more willing to love. trying to make others happy is fun because their happiness will rub off on you.

i wish everyone was as happy as this big ol dog

move on from people who treat you badly. cry once or twice and then for the love of god don’t give them any more energy.
