people are saying what amanda todd did was wrong….
(she killed herself after people bullied her after she took nude pics and slept with someone who had a girlfriend, and i think she was like only 15)
i think that’s funny to me because in my opinion i think nudity should be embraced and open relationships are generally better….
let me expand….i don’t think child porn should be embraced whatsoever. that is wrong. but what should happen is that first, adults should embrace our own nudity and then it would be okay for children to as well. i just want small changes as in it’s okay to have nude pictures anywhere and it’s okay for women to be topless though i’m undecided on complete nudity being legal. that might be a health problem if complete nudity was acceptable in public. but i hope this makes sense…. RIP Amanda.
another issue is that children should really be taught more about safety on the internet. it should be something they teach alongside warning kids about other abuses. and it should all be taught over and over again starting from kindergarten. also, people who abuse children should be punished very harshly. public education should start one year earlier and could improve simply by adding games/music/art to the curriculum. as in, instead of children doing worksheets everyday on grammar a song is sung instead-to the tune of “bad romance”. i could go on forever. but children are mistreated in this country to a small extent and there are tons of simple fixes.
